The Tithan were a Seven Cities tribe whose Tithansi Steppes were located south of Sialk and northeast of the Caron Mountains in the eastern part of the continent.[1][2]
During wartime, they painted their hands red. A tribal warleader could be identified by the red slashes of paint across his cheeks, one for each victory against an opponent.[3]
The Tithansi infantry fought with tulwars.[4]
In Deadhouse Gates[]
The Tithansi horse-warriors were among those who harried Coltaine's Chain of Dogs on their march to Aren. Coltaine's Wickans slaughtered them in large numbers near Dryj Spring.[5] After the Battle of Sekala Crossing, the Tithansi came under the control of the Semk godling who led them on a series of brilliantly coordinated raids against the 7th Army.[6]
After the death of the godling and their losses at the Battle of Gelor Ridge their tribe was said to exist no more.[7]
