T'morol served as Mathok's bodyguard in the Army of the Whirlwind.[1] He was described as a grizzled and burly warrior, whose cold, dark eyes were impervious to surprise.[2][3] His hard and weathered face was bearded.[2][3] It was said he looked "like some upright, hairless wolf, his eyes a hunter's eyes, cold, intense.[2]

He wore leather armour and carried a scimitar and round shield on his hip.[2]

In House of Chains[]

T'morol was at his warchief's side on the eve of the Battle of Raraku when Korbolo Dom made his move against Sha'ik Reborn's supporters. Dom's assassins made six attempts on Mathok's life before the warchief decided to decamp and rendezvous with Leoman. Mathok ordered T'morol to gather the clan and make ready to depart. The warchief took the Book of Dryjhna and planned to rendezvous with Leoman at Y'Ghatan.[3]

In The Bonehunters[]

Mathok and his warriors travelled by quiet and secret routes toward Y'Ghatan, but the Bluetongue Plague spread before they could rendezvous with Leoman. Then Mathok's shamans were beset by visions summoning them to Hanar Ara, the City of Fallen, to deliver the Holy Book to Felisin Younger, the new Sha'ik Reborn. But what Mathok and T'morol found was a cult softened by gluttony and dissolution. When the warchief tried to hand over the book, Felisin claimed she had no need for it and would compose her own Book of Salvation. She also proclaimed that Mathok and his warriors could stay among them only if they threw down their weapons and released their horses. In response, Mathok dropped the Book of Dryjhna to the ground, breaking its spine and sending pages scattering, then ordered T'morol to ready their warriors to leave. As Mathok departed the temple, T'morol spit on the ground before Felisin.[4]

Soon after, Mathok and his army surrendered to High Fist Ganoes Paran. The rebel claimed he was no longer a believer in the Apocalypse and, with the flooding of Raraku, no longer had a home to return to. Not interested in retribution, Ganoes gave Mathok and his warriors permission to disperse. Instead, Mathok asked the High Fist to accept him and his roughly four thousand light cavalry veterans into Paran's army. T'morol boasted that because Paran had killed Poliel, he would follow the High Fist "into The Abyss, so long as he promises us heads to lop off and maybe a woman or two to ride on the way...Besides, I'm tired of running." Paran elevated Mathok to the rank of Fist and put him in charge of the new additions.[5]
