The Siege of Aren was the last attempt by the Holy Falah'd to prevent control of Seven Cities from passing to the Malazan Empire. It took place in the city of Aren on the southeast coast of the continent.
Aftermath[]
At the end of the siege, the Seven Cities mage Hairlock joined the Malazan forces at Pan'potsun in order to keep his life.[1]
