Sceptre was an unaligned card in the Deck of Dragons.[1]
In The Bonehunters[]
At the behest of Adjunct Tavore, Fiddler held a reading of the Deck on board the Silanda as the fleet of the Malaz 14th Army was approaching Malaz Island. During the reading he dealt Crown, Sceptre and Orb in quick succession and attributed them to Grub's friends currently 'living in caves in the cliff' but commented that he would ignore these cards for now. He did not return to them in the game.[2]

The position has been speculated to be held by Grub.[citation needed]
