Myrid were herd animals with black woolly coats, and were often found grazing alongside the taller Rodara.[1] If the rodara moved, the Myrid would likely as not follow.[2] They were timid animals[3] that made bleating sounds,[4] and could only cover short distances at a run.[5] Myrid could cope with desert conditions better than sheep and cattle.[6]
Myrid had been domesticated for some time as was evident by ancient remnants of myrid, rodara, and goat pens often found on the Awl'dan.[7] Their hides were used.[8]
