The Katter River was located in northwestern Lether. It ran from the mountains near High Fort westward to empty into the Katter Bight at Old Katter.
The river ran through a gorge at Narrow Chute which was spanned by an ancient stone "bridge" that appeared to be an ancient mechanism.[1]
In Midnight Tides[]
During the Tiste Edur invasion of the Letherii Empire, Trull Sengar led fifty of his soldiers across the Katter River at Narrow Chute.[1]
