Janeth was an Avowed member of the Third Company of the Crimson Guard.
She had long auburn hair that she kept pulled back and fixed with a tortoiseshell clip.[1]
In Stonewielder[]
After K'azz D'Avore's return to the Crimson Guard and the Guard's return to Stratem, Janeth became warder of the town of Thickton in Haven Province. There she represented Blues, the province's Lord Governor, and worked with the town's council to enforce laws and guard the coast.
When the trading vessel Rich Tidings arrived offshore, Janeth accompanied the town's traders to the ship and kept a wary eye on their dealings with Captain Kuhn Eshen. Janeth's interest was piqued when Captain Eshen talked of the Stormwall in Korel, but she paled when he spoke of the Wall's mighty new champion Bars. She hurried from the ship to report the news to the rest of the Guard.[2]
Trivia[]
Although listed in the Dramatis Personae of Return of the Crimson Guard, Janeth is not mentioned in the text of the book.
