A Company was a military unit usually comprised of several squads and commanded by a Captain or Commander. Individual squads were usually specialised. The proper mix of squads allowed each company "to work as a discrete unit, self-reliant and mutually supportive."[1]
For example, the 9th Company of the Malaz 14th Army's 8th Legion was made up of 3 squads of Heavy infantry, 3 squads of Marines, and 18 squads of Medium infantry.[1]
