Bedit was a warrior in clan Nith'rithal of the White Face Barghast. He was a long-time brother-in-arms with Talt, whom Bedit referred to as "young Talt".[1]
In Dust of Dreams[]
Bedit was part of a Nith'rithal war-party, conducted by Talt - now a warleader - against the Akrynnai of the central plains of Lether; the White Face Barghast having entered into an unprovoked war with the Akrynnai. Bedit told the Warleader that the Akrynnai were "spineless" because they died "quickly" under torture.[2] Perhaps influenced by this opinion by Bedit, Talt underestimated the enemy and allowed his war-party to be lured into an ambush by a much larger and more heavily armed Akrynnai force.[3] Bedit, who was armed with a lance, and the rest of the Nith'rithal warriors fought fiercely and with skill, but both sides were overwhelmed by a mysterious 'storm' that descended upon the battlefield and which led to the deaths of all of the combantants, Nith'rithal and Akrynnai alike.[4][5]
